Ana Parra

Ana is a born and bred Mexican editor, director, and researcher, who’s experience living in diverse countries such as Norway, Spain, England & México has given her lea-way for various narratives in her approach to her work and creativity.  Her love for strong visual storytelling led her to learn several disciplines in the film and communications industries such as directing, creative writing, photography and ultimately landing her into the editing suite where she has mainly worked in advertising, Fashion Industry, Music industry, Documentary, and Short-form narrative. 

After attaining a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Communications & Promotion at London’s  Central Saint Martins, she moved away from photography and deeper into film. Her beginning as an editor was before graduating university working for Art Partner as an offline editor in the Fashion & Art industries but she found a love of weaving longer narrative and moved quickly into the advertising, music, film and television industries.

As an editor, she has worked with brands such as Adidas, Heist, Gucci, Givenchy, Discovery Channel Latam, Bafta, Davines, Shortlist Magazine & the BBC among others.

Ana is also a Director, with one award-winning music video and two documentaries already under her belt. This year (2019) is set to be just as busy with more music promos and a short film on their way to production.
