Tatjana Rhodes

Tatjana is a freelance film editor based in London, whose work spans feature films, short films, music videos, branded content, corporate, documentary and fashion. 

From a young age she immersed herself in art, film and photography, and wanted to become an animator. It was only when she started studying at Central St. Martins College that she realised editing was her vocation. 

In 2009, Tatjana graduated with a BA degree in Graphic Design and Moving Image. From hereon she embarked upon her career as an Assistant Editor in the cutting rooms of several major studio feature films, including ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows,’ ‘Paul,’ and ‘Rock Of Ages.’ 

She has a keen eye for detail and strong story telling skills, over the last decade expanding her experience by working with an array of production companies and brands including: Warner Bros Pictures, Working Title, BBC, Google, Unilever, Marks and Spencer, Apple, Spring Studios, Max Mara, Pandora, Guiseppe Zanotti, Lipsync Post, Grey London, Rio Tinto, Silver Fish, Publicis, and Jellyfish Animation.

Most recently she won the Best Editing award for her work on a psychological thriller, short film, In2ruders at the 2018 Birmingham Film Festival. In2ruders was also was selected for the BAFTA qualified Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York. 

Tatjana is uniquely positioned to work in London and America, because she holds dual UK and US citizenship. While she is usually based in London, she does often travel to Los Angeles.

Beyond editing, Tatjana enjoys traveling and discovering new places, art exhibitions, theatre, and live music. In the future she hopes to carve out some time for her passion for painting and photography again, with a goal of staging an exhibition of her work.
